When it gets hot in St. George, it gets hot fast!!!! One day its a pleasant 80* the next day its 104* and the landlady at our apartments won't open the pool. So we have to take our kids to the fountians the city has installed to keep kids from drying up and being blown away by the wind. The city has to do this or the it would die off real quick with all of the retirees that live here. If the city doesn't protect its young ones there wouldn't be any one left by next year.
